The Ottawa chapter is where members in the region meet and act. It is where the initiatives begin that pay, seven thousand kilometres away, for a school roof or a repaired window.

Members decided to hand over their deposit bottles and cans to fund the work of the association.
This very simple initiative continues.
It is perhaps the truest picture of how we work: small contributions, made regularly, that end up putting a roof over a school seven thousand kilometres away.
